Kick Garlic and Ginger Paste

Garlic Ginger Paste

Garlic and ginger form the base for many South Asian recipes; simply sauté Kick Garlic Ginger paste with some cooking oil and chopped onions before adding your main ingredients.

Our Garlic Ginger Paste is a daily staple, with just a teaspoon adding some resounding flavour notes to your favourite dish.

A little goes a long way

Just one teaspoon of Garlic Ginger Paste is the equivalent to 3-4 cloves of garlic, and a decent sized knob of ginger. And the best part is no grating, peeling, mincing or chopping required!

What makes this paste so good?

Both ginger and garlic are crucial ingredients in many of our staple recipes, and we were very dissatisfied with the supermarket range of "convenient" garlic and ginger offerings, many of which tasted more of vinegar than the aromatics they were supposed to be. We're pleased to say that our Kick Garlic Ginger Paste actually tastes and smells of garlic and ginger!

How should I use it?

This is the milder sibling of our Kick Chilli Garlic Ginger paste, and we often use it when cooking for more spice-sensitive friends and family members.

A milder base for scratch cooking, its the foundation for any authentic curry, in a marinade for Butter Chicken, or even paired with our X-Hot Naga paste as a key ingredient for a cheat’s Thai Red Curry.
