One Pot Smokey Pulled Brisket

Crazy juicy bbq beef perfect in a bun or served with rice and our Naga mayo for a quick flavour filled high protein dish.

If you have the time, cook low and slow otherwise chuck everything in a pressure cooker for a meal to impress.

Any leftovers are suitable for freezing. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1.4kg brisket, exterior fat trimmed lean

  • 5 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp Kick Garlic Ginger Paste

  • 1 tbsp Kick Chipotle Paste

  • 3 tbsp mirin

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  

Instructions:

Slow cooker (4-6 hours):

  1. Cut the brisket into equal sized chunks across the grain
  2. Add all ingredients to a slow cooker and mix well
  3. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours
  4. Check meat is tender and shred with a fork
  5. Crack some coarse black pepper and you’re ready to go!

Pressure cooker (1hour 30 mins):

  1. Cut the brisket into equal sized chunks across the grain
  2. Add all ingredients to a slow cooker and mix well
  3. Cook on high pressure for 1 hour 30 mins
  4. Check meat is tender and shred with a fork
  5. Crack some coarse black pepper and you’re ready to go!
